PROCESS FOR CHOOSING LANES AND THROWING FIRST

A) A COIN TOSS will be used to determine which team selects one of the following options:

OPTION #1 - Choose the lane assignment

OPTION #2 - Choose who pitches first

1) If OPTION #1 is selected, the coin toss winner chooses their lane and takes their
positions in the pitchers boxes, then opposing team gets to toss first.

2) If OPTION #2 is selected, the coin toss winner chooses to toss first then the opposing team chooses their lane and takes their positions  in the pitchers boxes.

A) In game 2 of best out of 3 match up players will alternate lanes by switching
pitchers boxes at their same end of play.

B) If a third game is needed, another coin toss will decide who has which options.

DESIGNATED FOUL BAGS

A) Any bag pitched with foot passing the designated " Foul Line " or Front of the Board, or designated Pitchers Box at the time of release.

B) A bag pitched from a different Pitchers Box than their designated Pitchers Box. Players may not share Designated Pitchers Boxes. ( Throw from the same side as opponent )

C) Any bag that comes in contact with the court or the ground before coming to rest on the playing surface/ board.

D) Any bag that comes to rest touching the ground and the playing surface/ board

METHODS OF SCORING

A) Cancellation Scoring: The approved method of scoring the sport of cornhole is " Cancellation" scoring. In cancellation scoring, the points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one player/ team can score in each frame.

B) Woody: Each Woody is worth 1 point. Bags that come to rest on the playing surface/ board that are not Foul bags.

C) Cornhole: Each Cornhole is worth 3 points. Bags that fall into the hole

MOVING CORNHOLE BOARDS AND BAGS

A) A player can only straighten cornhole boards in between frames and with the approval of their opponent. A Tournament Director may be called to determine replacement if a discrepancy is in question.

DISPUTES

A) All disputes must handled in the frame in question and before the start of the next frame. Once the next frame has begun all previous frames are final. At the conclusion of all games scores and frames remain final and may not be disputed.

SPORTSMANSHIP:
ANY PLAYER OR TEAM WHO INDULGES IN HECKLING OR UNFAIR ROOTING, USES ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, MAKES OBSCENE GESTURES, OR
EXHIBITS ANY OTHER FORM OF UN-SPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT TOWARD OTHER PLAYERS, OR OTHERS IN THE AREA OF THE COURTS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO EXPULSION FROM THE TOURNAMENT/EVENT AND FROM THE EVENT SITE WITH OUT REFUND OF TICKET AND
TOURNAMENT FEES.
